 Gabicci was formed in 1973 by two entrepreneurial friends, Jack Sofier and Alex Pyser. Jack's wife Maureen suggested a name for the new company following a visit to the Italian seaside town of Gabicce Mare, and the Gabicci Clothing brand was born. Towards the late seventies, together with the traditional Gabicci customer, the young and fashion conscious became interested and Gabicci became a major fashion brand. Those of you old enough to remember that far back will no doubt recall the trademark gold G. Over recent years, we have seen Gabicci re-establish its self as the leading menswear brand. Gabicci Clothing has continued to grow and the introduction of a black label collection,has widened its appeal to slightly younger consumer, more sophisticated designs have also helped the brand's appeal, particularly in Europe.
