Humor History

We are working on a total look, which is heavily influenced by the metropolitan underground music. The DJ culture is alive and kicking in New York, Berlin, London and Copenhagen.
Music has always been a major source of inspiration for designers all over the world and the elements offered by the different musical universes transfer perfectly to the fashion world. The overall look of our first collection will be a mixture of historical epochs, world images and, as already mentioned, underground music, originating especially in electronic music.

Important elements are mixing and sampling the best from past and present and thereby develop the world-famous Danish fashion industry. The ragged, informal look is a familiar element, which we will use. It has been over-exposed in recent years in the form of faded and frayed details, but we want to counteract this look by using designs and details which give young men the chance to wear a completely new style and silhouette.

Humor have created an eclectic look based around funky t-shirts, stylish knitwear and some of the funkiest jeans on the market. Humor continues to grow into a total collection with all the quirks and twists ever present.

HUMöR’s philosophy is to create a style which through materials, designs, details and colours creates an overall look that, on the one hand, is new and long overdue, but on the other hand also commercial and wearable.
The colour range in the first collection is a pyrotechnic display of happy, strong colours in off-beat combinations. A major source of inspiration in this connection is Tokyo’s Shibuya area, where the fashion crowd is giving an entirely new meaning to the word paint box.
