Made traditionally on 'Union Special' sewing machines and directly where our namesake originates from, we'd like to dedicate this highlighted heritage collection to the history of Union Made.
Beginning with one of the global leaders in fairtrade fashion and sustainability, Nudie's Howie Chore is a recycled designed crafted from a mix of worn-out Nudie Jeans and certified organic cotton. The chore is piece dyed in to a vivid hydrone blue colouring to evoke the aesthetics of the 30s working man. Pair it with the 70s dyed Rad Rufus for some serious Canadian tux action.
Edwin are renowned for making some of the finest and affordable denim the world over. All their denim now comes loomed in Japan, utilising various historic mills to produce their super sturdy selvage. 3 distinct styles arrive flush in the Iconic Copper Rough & Tough Leather, introduced back in 2005 marking 100 years in excellence.
The Red Wing Weekender Chukka 3322D
A flexible and lightweight adaptation of the classic work chukka. Comfortable straight out the box with its unconstructed toe box for heightened flexibility and guarantees no break in time. The Weekender offers a more robust construction and design to similar chukka options, lending itself to a lot of dress down and dress up options.
The Red Wing Classic Moc Toe 1907D Boot
Made from the iconic Copper Rough & Tough Leather that was introduced back in 2005 marking 100 years in excellence. It differs slightly from the classic Moc toe boots with its Norwegian style double stitch welt and a flatter less pronounced toe box. This construction, known as a Storm Welt, is designed and instilled for it's ability to prevent water from entering the shoe at the seam between the shoe upper and welt as a completely exterior stitch. Norwegian welts have historically been the go to for extreme weather footwear.
Bonus extras include a leather footbed which adds more comfort from the get go along with two sets of laces, one leather and one taslan.
The Red Wing Iron Ranger Boot 8085D
An iconic heritage design with modern versatility, the Iron Ranger has serious working pedigree whilst also being one of the dressier designs in the Red Wing range thanks to it's narrow and traditional aesthetic. Nickel hardware matching to the rich copper colour, speed hooks for ease and as always Goodyear welt construction.
Both the classic Moc Toes (8138 & 0875) land in a full restock looking as great as ever.
On top of all that, there's a smattering of new Insoles, Laces and even a Cleaning Kit for those looking to beat the Christmas rush, plus the ever reliable stocking filler of Mink Oil (more on that to follow...)
It's not all about Red Wing though, Danner restocks arrive in the form of the Brown Moc Toe 15563 design alongside the sturdy shoes of Kleman, decking the Padror and Frodan in rough suede and grain leather.

Down Jackets
The obvious solution: big coats. Padded puffers you can throw on without a care. The equivalent of bringing the duvet to the settee but more socially accepted. Selections from Deus Ex Machina, Stan Ray and Carhartt have you covered, particularly the Carhartt WIP Munro Jacket - constructed from a water-repellent nylon poplin and filled with an ethical polyester down.
Knitwear
Options a plenty in your chunky to fine selection of knits. Our most recent debutant Country Of Origin specialise in the finest lambswool seamless crewnecks, easy breezy. Obey offer a more ostentatious selection of acrylics and cottons wovens, statement pieces. Where it's really at, the Edwin pieces of the season come in with a classic conundrum: Turtleneck or Cardigan? There can only be one! It's either the premium Edwin Roni High Collar Sweater in Uniform Green in a mix of wool and alpaca, or the premium Edwin Hiji Cardigan in Kid Mohair Violet in a wool blend.
Chorecoats
Layers are the tried and true winter way, and its not hard to look oh so good doing it. Vetra are our go to satorial servants for a fitted chore, and Manchester based Uskees rip a number of canvas classic on boxy blocks, but the brand offers the easiest colours and cuts for layering is the understated favourite Le Laboureur. The brand new Le Laboureur Cotton Work Jacket in Meadow Green places a vibrant green colouring to the oversized style with contrast buttons to boot!
Pants
Denim comes as strong as ever from Edwin, Carhartt and Nudie amongst others, but for true warmth the money is on Stan Ray's Fat Pant in Battle Grey Cord. Classic fatigue pant with a relaxed fit, now in heavyweight cord!
Shoes
Functional but formal, dress down, dress up very no-nonsense no frills shoes. Kleman have decked their Padror and Frodan offerings in a series of hard wearing suedes, veggie tanned grained leathers and the classic matte leather finishes. Tyrolean shoes are the past, present and the future!

As avid cloths-mun we can't help but appreciate great design and execution, and Carhartt WIP are delivering yet again with a literary of exquisitely executed garment dyed items.
Debuting a new round of exceptional utilitarian pieces, the recently released Berm Jacket is your new functional favourite in the WIP range. A familiar heritage design that boasts serious casual credentials, even your utmost Italian sportswear ultra wouldn't bat an eye at this colour trip. Luscious olive and faded black deck these ballooning bastions of big coats.
For those in the market for more intrinsically Carhartt pieces, the Arbor Vest treats a traditional workwear vest to a heavy dye and wear treatment, enriching the garment with a vivid patina. Match with the Bayfield tote for a particularly industrious look.
Finally, the iconic Michigan Coat sees it's heavyweight canvas variant blessed with a salacious seasonal pallette. Our pick of the bunch is the Icy Water colouring that encapsulates the coat with a pigment dye.
]]>Hailing from the mighty Amsterdam with a wealth of experience under their belt, BENZAK are somewhat of a Willy Wonkas fashion factory of fits and fancies. Founded in 2013 with a focus on made-to-last garments, the brand has found itself becoming quite the behemoth in the denim industry as one of Europe's foremost artisanal ateliers.
Every part of the BENZAK range has been scrutinised for an ultra utilitarian feel. This is denim that lasts longer, breaks in easier and pairs equally in to classic or contemporary style depending on preference.
Both the Slim and Taper cuts offered, the B-01 & B-03 respectively, add premium detail to the exceptional eco selvedge of Italy's Candiani denim mill. Small additions in tonal stitched branding, selvedge penny pocket and distinct lack of back pocket stitching add an alternative air to the norm.
For those in the market for the perfect T-Shirt, the BT-01 pocket tee arrives in an array of colours in a heavy jersey finish. They're a classic in the arsenal for a reason.
Eyes peeled for more delights

With a makeover to match a new contemporary vision, gone are the numerical days of the Japanese denim brand (save a particular favourite). It's not all doom and gloom though, your favourite fits remain in the form of the handiliy branded Slim Taper, Regular Taper and Loose Taper.
Your ED80 fits land flush in a selection of returning greats, the Kaihara Stretch - Black Unwashed, Yoshiko Left Hand - Blue Akira & Blue Unwashed and the classic Red Selvage now manufactured to it's original specs via the Kurabo mill with a little twist, an eco-friendly recycled yarn that still nails the vivid indigo of vintage red selvage. Not to be left out in the redesign, the Nihon Menpu - Rainbow Dark Pure Indigo Unwashed is a super charged version of yore, weighing in at a 13.5oz as apposed to it's original 12.7oz variant.
For those with a penchant for the looser jean, the ED55 now comes in a slight looser fit on the thigh with a selection of classics and new finishes to boot. Yoshiko Left Hand in Blue Unwashed & Blue Akira, Nihon Menpu - Rainbow, Kurabo - Recycled Red landing flush and familiar with a couple of new stretch variants in the Kaihara Stretch - Blue Dark Used, Pure Indigo Blue Rinse & Black x Black Rinsed.
For those on the straight and narrow, the relaxed jean of choice is now a hybridised design of sorts. Frankendenim. Nihon Menpu - Rainbow Dark Pure Indigo Unwashed is the name and loose straight is the game. But hold your horses you bootcut bastards, they have a bloody taper to boot! Crazy!
Never fear though, neighsayer of the slim cuts. Nashville and ED47 remain in their original form. Classic branding and all. Yeehaw.

Prep and collegiate cool are the manifesto for the season, showing an evolution to the typically streetwear offering. Sweats, tees and caps look equally as inviting to pair with loafers and pleats or cargos and sneaks.
Stand out motifs include the PAR ra college spell-out shared across, the Sitting Pair pattern that manifests in standout embroidery and wovens with the sweatpants and knitted pullover, and the classic graphic designs of Piet and the classic avian orientated prints.
As ever, the accessories land as inspired with a Nalgene water bottle emblazoned in the rather apt water park print.

Frantically searching for the next big coat? Trawling and trawling for layers on layers? Getting hot under the collar because of the lack of collar? Chillout man!
We've got the premium pieces to put the cold at bay, and this time it's a battle edition PART 2!!!
Premium updates to Carhartt WIP's premier silhouettes have landed for the season in the form of the formidable Highland Jacket and Detroit Tuscon. Both jackets land flush with additional winterisation. Wool patterns adapted to the traditionally canvas outer, polyester fill to the quilt liner and storm cuffs to the Highland Jacket in particular.
Offering both classic and contemporary in their workwear arsenal, Dickies drop their winter line with a wealth of options, highlighted by the sherpa lined Duck Canvas Chore and Waldenburg Puffer. The Duck is served well done with a toasty poly-sherpa, and the it's a spicy meatball with the Waldenburg polyester fill down coat, double zipped and presented in an autumnal pumpkin spice.
If it's the classics you want, it's the classics you're gonna get from Lee. Knocking another piece of Sherpa lined trucker out the park in the Rosin Sherpa coat, this cowboy comes corduroy cut for a lil bit more warmth than your regular denim. If it's the crazy life your after, look no further than the Winter Box Loco jacket. Grady tanned Corduroy outer on a box fit workwear jacket, plus an additional emerald quilt line. Wild stuff!
]]>We've got the premium pieces to put the cold at bay, and this time it's a battle edition.
A long awaited return for a Union Clothing favourite, the Le Laboureur Wool Jacket lands in store again with oosing with raw class. Presented in brown and ecru, it's possibly one of the warmest styles available with its heavy woollen weave.
If winter has got you in survival mode, Edwin's got you covered. Decked in military olive patchwork across the pair, the Survival Jacket and Tactical Vest will ensure all that are bestowed with it's ode to military thrifting are covered in contrasting quilt warmth and multi pocket utilitarian exellence.
The styles synonymous with the Carhartt story, Detroit and Michigan. Worn by celebs and plumbers alike, there's a reason both styles have been in production for decades. Heavy canvas clad with robust fleece lining. These will probably age better than you will.
]]>Big is better, Big is bigger.
...And with a cruel flick of nature's branch we arrive in Autumn's gaze. Those native to the north are aware that the wind hits differently coming off the Tyne. There's only one way to answer it, big coats man!
We're throwing our weight behind some of the best layers for the season. Quilted, reliable and heavyweight with some really nasty pieces of work amongst these winter warriors.
Survival guaranteed with Edwin's ode to Japanese surplus thrifting. Cut in a patchwork asymmetrical collection of sateen fabric, and completed with a contrasting safety orange diamond quilt. Four balloon pockets and two lateral gusseted pockets add an air of utility.
Have the outerlayers but lack the innards? Warm your best weather proofed outer with the Pedro Bay Vest, a workwear gilet that brings the best of the woodsman to everyone. Brushed flannel finish to the outer, with serious warming properties to the quilt liner. Being practical never looked so good.
All work and no play make Union a bunch of dull boys and girls, and Carhartt's Arcan Jacket is giving us serious 'Here's Johnny' vibes in it's offroad iteration. This is a classic workwear cut that includes some of the best features of other Carhartt Classics. Wack a piece of knitwear under this for a guaranteed winner.
Speaking of knitwear... its unparalleled sensory sophistication from Edwin in the form of the Hiji mohair cardigan. Yarned with the finest of Italian Yarn and cut in an oversized 'Slouchy' cut, the famed Christmas Cardi might be solved already with months to spare.
]]>So for those in the market for a new pantaloon, step in to the Pant Suite and find the next kecks for your agenda.
Known across the globe for their denim prowess and their deft hand with a selvage loom, it's a non selvage addition to the Slim Taper range from Edwin that takes the headline for the season. Offering a lightweight Japanese organic cotton with a slight stretch, both the mid used and rinsed variants are a ready to rock option.
Always tapping in to heritage and military, Edwin's seasonal utility option arrives in the lightweight ripstop Block Pant. A double knee fatigue that features a prewash to add a vintage feel, this is a game changer for those that want a bit more substance to a monochromatic look.
More of the same goodness from Dickies and their seasonal palette, offering a 'Ponderosa Pine' finish to the 872 poly-cotton finish. These will age extremely nicely.
For those feeling an autumnal mood on the horizon, it's more of the same from Carhartt and their Newel Cord range. Variations on neutral tones in a lovely handling cord. Groovy!

Heat is the name of the game, in content and context. Looking good in a heatwave has never been easier with options for the denim heads, the utilitarian and those who like a bit more substance to their casual clobber. Have a gander, ne slander. Enjoy episode 3 of DECK

]]>Our favourite Japanese denim dealers continue to moonlight as impeccable graphic distributors, exemplified by this classy drop of delicious designs.
Quality is the word through out the Edwin collection. Synonymous with the Rainbow selvedge looms and robust heritage and workwear styles, a very much slept on aspect of the brand is their array of tees and prints celebrating Japanese and specifically Tokyo's heritage and aesthetic.
Arriving in core black and white the 'Sun Building' and 'Tokyo Nightfall' tees embrace the unique aesthetics of Japan and Tokyo respectively. Minimalists galore with the former's small abstract chest logo design, and a shoutout to the night chancers with the neon back print design of the later.
For those in need of a relaxed fit, the double bill of the black and white Aurora tee offers an abstract symbolic chest logo on a heavy backdrop. Heavyweight cotton for those heavy hitters out there.
As ever, the classics return clad in seasonal colours. Japanese Sun, Logo Chest and Pocket T sees itself decked in luscious palettes from Uniform Green to Burnished Sunset.
Need something to pair with your new tee? Big restocks in the the Yoshiko Left Hand unwashed offer a no frills non selvedge raw denim that still packs a punch of Japanese fabrication. For those wanting less hassle, the brand new Ariki wash offers a contemporary stone wash that's less Woodstock and more 90s Alt Rock.
]]>
Expanding their range with a selection of selvedge from the finest mills across the world, we're delighted to offer the signature slim and loose taper fits from the brand in a 14.5oz Isko orange listed selvedge.
Both pairs rock a 5 pocket with a tapered leg and mid length rise and, highly unique in the fashion world, the option for a 35" waist for those always caught in the middle.

Need a smart trouser? Dickies. Need a robust trouser for the day to day? Dickies! Penchant for knee slides? It's Dickies, obviously.
Speaking of classics, the Sacramento shirt continues to reign supreme amongst its grunge contemporaries. Kinda like the Soundgarden of flannels. This new Sacramento in Brown Duck is some their finest material.
For the sun chasers amongst us the Dickies Grove City open collar shirt is a seasonal sensation in a crisp fabric. Subtle stripes, 'Mellow' colouring. Easy breezy stuff.
]]>Brixton have kept it as consistent as ever for the high summer collection, hitting us with a classic array of patterns, graphics and prints on the best of Brixton's bases.
New prints include the retro inspired 'Seer' range across the tailored tee fit and MP snapback. Part twilight zone, part retro arcade homage, part Bill Shatner dropping coins on his fortune. It's many things to many people.
Re-ups in the Charter shirt offer fresh prints for the short sleeved inclined. Designed to be as easy to wear as possible, the Charter can be dressed up as an oxford or button up style, or ironed in to an open collar. Add a couple of classic floral or repeating prints in to the mix, you've got a dependable piece for the summer wardrobe.
Headwear as ever lands flush in this collection. Amongst the snapbacks and flatcaps lands a tasteful spin on the classic boonie/bucket with the Alton, arriving in an array of tones. With a packable ability to boot, you can roll it, fold it, shove it away for a rainy day and rely on its structure to bounce back in to functional hat form. Now if that isn't cool, what is?
]]>With an eye for patterns, fabric and cuts that sit between ostentatious and subtle, the most recent collection from the brand sees a blur between the smart and casual realm.
The short sleeve shirting arrives in a a variety of repeating patterns, offering button down open collar or button up capabilities. Materialised in a soft cotton, this can we worn under or over a variety of styles.
Jackets this year are where the brand pushes the boat out further. Dubbing the collection as a whole 'Gods of the Seas', the nautical inspiration lands flush on the Barbet Seersucker Jacket. Full mast for this bad boy.
For something a bit more day to day, the Watts hits a classic trucker jacket style with contemporary fabrication. Dubbed 'Cloudbuster' this muted stucco style colouring is a cotton twill contemporary king.

A brand that place's their history and future at equal ends of the manifesto, to understand how they push forward in a fast fashion dominated world you must know their past.
Here's a bit of bumph about the brand, straight from the source's mouth:
"A shoemaker and bootmaker by trade, René Cléon joined the front lines during the Second World War. He was taken prisoner in 1940 during the Battle of France and spent 5 years in captivity in a Stalag in Germany, where he continued to model small leather shoes in his spare time. Probably hoping to be back soon to his homeland, the idea of launching his shoe manufacturing workshop is gradually growing.
At the end of the war in 1945, in the weeks following his return, he formed a team of apprentices and bought his first stitching and assembly machines. The story begins in the family home in La Romagne, with a specialization on Kneipp sewn mixed models, then the business grows and a factory is built. The sons Jacques and Louis-Marie took up the torch and diversified the activity in the 1970s -1980s."
Offering a true working pedigree through years of "public administration" contracts, the fruits of Kleman's labour manifest in the current collection of durable footwear, typified by their staple silhouette: the Padror.
An authentic 'Fabriqué en France', the fully leather upper is sourced and arranged in France with a rubber outsole. This an instantly recognisable and iconic model in the modern wardrobe arsenal, and it's not hard to see why. Anti-slip and anti-abrasion properties to the outsole, with a Poron® insole that absorbs shocks and provides optimal comfort. Classic leather styling, suede finishes or hide and leather finish. Pick your fighter!
Offering a more hybridised design, the newest model to the roster comes in form of the Frodan Derby. Taking the same highly reliable and durable chassis as the Padror, the Frodan skillfully mixes the brutality of the workwear style and the formal elegance of the glossy leather for an exclusive, uncompromising look.
]]>Always trailblazers in the denim industry, the Nudie team were one of the first big guys in the game to push environmental awareness and human rights before it became the decade's hot new trend.
Shit hot drops in organic cotton, that's the sensation for the season. Decking new and old denim silhouettes in their hard wearing sustainably sourced materialisation alongside archival ideas reintroduced with contemporary fits and design techniques. That's the juice.
We're seeing a push to retro prints and pieces through the year, and that rings true with the bold 'HEAVEN AND HELL' flock printed Roy Tee, throwing contrasting binding to the arms and neck line. "Even though being as far apart as you can get geographically, they somehow almost always co-exist in those moments that really count." Profound stuff.
Overshirting hits as hard as ever in neutral tones and classic prints. The Chet shirt offers versatility in a reliable pigment dyed and stonewashed hazel button up package, nice, neutral, different. Colin comes consistent with two iterations in its två ficka design. Offering an army green variant in an organic cotton twill alongside baby cord camo for a bit of variety, real horses for courses fodder.
Big gabagool energy in the form of recent debutant denim cut 'Tuff Tony', taking all the classic Nudie design cues and cutting it in to a vintage straight leg cut. The dry malibu finish offers a blueish hue with a marbling wash effect. After that it's core classics arriving in new washes, familiar faces like Lean Dean, Tight Terry and Gritty Jackson.
]]>
With their penchant for heavyweight construction, the WIP brand has delivered another series of tees, crews and hoods decked in their typically hard wearing cotton silhouettes completed with some retro touches to the prints.
A brand that mixes such heavily heritage designs with modern touches knows how to dip in to the archives for prints. Can't really reinvent the wheel with a t-shirt can you, and why would you when you can keep it consistent like Carhartt.
Bold typography and imagery litters the S/S collection, dropping leopards on to hoodies with familiar tags like 'From Mill to Millions'. Nods to the WIP founding date in the Summer of '89 tag or 1989 branding, alongside psychedelic imagery of love straight from the 'Hartt.
Base colours run wild with the introduction of Hokkaido Orange and Treehouse Green, mixing it up from the regular White, Black and Dark Navy staples.
Worth noting all these bad boys come in a box fitting loose fit with ample room for activities.
Eazy Breezy Bay-Bay.
]]>Made to be worn by everyone, and built to last. That's the Uskees manifesto. A brand that may still be in its infancy but timeless in execution.
Spurred on by a desire to provide a genuine alternative to the outdated notion of fast fashion placing the consumer and the environment as equals in their business models.
With their unisex designs arriving in a plethora of cuts and styles, we'd like to focus on a couple that really set the mark for the brand.
With a modern twist on a traditional workwear jacket, the 3004 cut is a familiar 3 pocket design with subtle changes. Deep, practical pockets front & inside, Reinforced elbow area for extra strength and durability. Grifters and grafters rejoice, it's the everyday people's jacket of choice.
Taking a step in to the regal realm of sartorial menswear, the 3006 Blazer is a welcome dress up or dress down design that hits consistent design cues. 3 patch pockets, reinforced elbows (sense the theme) and corzo cut buttons.
With their origins in Manchester, it would be sacrilegious not to include a Smock in the collection, so we're happy to report that the 3008 smock is faithful to the Madchester boys and girls. 2 large patch pockets on the front, drawstring hood and base and, you guessed it, reinforced elbow area for extra strength and durability.
Did we mention every item is pieced together with organic cotton? Oh yeah buddy.
]]>Fender, the legendary musical people, lend their legacy to the musically inclined folk at Brixton HQ for a small drop of graphics and accessories to stake your rock and roll credentials on the daily.
With designs made to "evoke the lonesome wandering of classic country", the humble collection brings a distinctly Americana feel to classic Brixton tees, and an ingenious Snapback aimed at the gigging gentleman.
Decking the Brixton Standard tee with a selection of graphics, the howling and highway tee pay homage to easy riders and lone wanderers of the American deserts, with their psychedelic prints, howling wolves and deadly snakes. Iconic tees built for daily adventures
The Electric MP Snapback is where the true innovation of the collaboration lies. An unstructured, medium profile design decked in a corduroy with strong contrasting embroidery displaying the iconic fender logo front and centre. Underneath the hood is where this baby really ticks, featuring a guitar pick holder in the sweatband, this snapback is ready to ROCK.
