Union Autumn/Winter 2015: Shirts
We have featured some heavier shirts from two of our favourite brands, Brixton and Carhartt to help you choose from what can be a daunting selection.
If checks are not your thing, there are also patterned shirts to choose from like The Carhartt L/S Weave Shirt Tank/Dark Navy (below left) in it's 100% Cotton Poplin Flannel, 6.6 oz fabric and comes in a regular fit. It is brushed and stone washed for extra softness and features an all over print. It has a hidden button-down collar and button chest pocket with minimal branding.
Check shirts have and always will be a part of every man's wardrobe. Whether a broader check or a smaller check, they are great for layering in the colder weather.
The Brixton Archie Long Sleeve Flannel Shirt (above right) is a vintage inspired box fit cotton long sleeve button flannel with adjustable button sleeves. It features two chest pockets and a straight cut bottom hem. There is a Brixton woven label at pocket side and on interior yoke.
The Brixton Bowery Long Sleeve Flannel Shirt (above centre) is a fitted, cotton plaid flannel with adjustable button sleeves. There's a Brixton woven label at pocket side and Brixton woven label on interior yoke.
If you need more checks in your life we have picked out some of our favourite smaller check in The Carhartt L/S Floyd Shirt (below left) with it's regular fit and 100% brushed Cotton construction the Baker features, button-down collar, a single chest pocket with a white WIP script label on placket. It's check is slightly smaller for more formal outfits and comes in a perfect Winter colourway.
