VETRA FOR SS21
A crown jewel in the heart of the Parisian streets, the ateliers of Vetra have been a firm favourite of the Union boys and girls for some time with their unisex, utilitarian, and universally loved jackets. With a near century of working class workwear work work work under their collective belts, including a brief stint fighting off the Axis troops as part of France's resistance (story for another time), Spring Summer 21 brings a culmination of of staples and classics into the collection.
Draping new colours to the 5C silhouette, the 3 three pocket supreme now comes in seasonal offerings of Chalk and Pearl, arriving alongside core colourways such as Hydrone, Navy, Waid and Rigging linen.
Also arriving as a restock and ready to rock is the Navy overdyed workwear blazer, offering similair sensibilities to their chore's but in a handy, easy to wear, dress up and dress down vessel for everyone's pleasure.
In newer, fresher, news Vetra have blessed with a new offering straight outta the heritage files. A twill bomber design that takes cues from trucker jackets and denims for a fitted finish. A two pocket and pearl colouring finishes the minimal piece.
Alongside the newest of the dambusters for the season, an update to the 3 pocket design comes in the 8B jacket. As ever in design, more pockets = more room for stuff = more money please, but it's bang for your buck with every extra addition. "2 slanted pockets + 1 double front-pocket + 1 inner pocket, cuffs at the wrists, tab for hatstand" Is how the ateliers eloquently describe this reinforced design. We say it's just really class.
