Sock & Trotter is a relatively new company born out of years of experience in the clothing manufacturing business, the ethos of the business is to use traditional British production methods and select the best yarns and styling with splashes of pop colours
Established by husband and wife team Dean & Lisa Batty they draw on a wealth of experience
Dean
Dean has worked in the Fashion and Clothing Industry for all of his career so far and has extensive experience in Brand Concept, Design, Sourcing and Production.
He has worked with some very exciting and high profile brands and companies throughout the world.
His most recent project, was as Creative Director for the heritage brand, Sir Edmund Hillary.
Dean has extensive contacts in Japan, Europe and USA, having had Distribution of some very cool labels over the years!
It was a desire to start a new company, that led to the birth of Sock and Trotter.
Lisa
Lisa has also worked in the Fashion and Clothing Industry since graduating from Derbyshire University in 1983.
She has worked continually as a Designer, Pattern-Cutter and lecturer.
Lisa spent several years working with Belstaff International as Senior Designer.
Her freelance portfolio includes: Paul Smith, Hackett, Fat Face and Sir Edmund Hillary plus many more...
