Farah reached cult status in the 1970's amongst the youth of Britain and their love for the Farah slacks made from Hopsack Canvas. It's slim cut tailoring and stain resistance meant it was truly one of a kind.
The 80's saw a real boom in culture and Farah was at the forefront of The Mods, Sticksmen, Skins and the Rocker-Billy’s who used Farah in their own way to create an individual look like no other. The Farah brand brought respect to anybody representing the 'F' logo.
Today, Farah continue to create a clean and classic collection with a modern edge.
The first drop of Autumn Winter 2015 has just arrived at Union and it's just as we expected: on form.
Their Summer collection has been transformed from the casual short sleeve polo shirt into the Autumnally apt long sleeve button down polo perfect for layering as the months get colder. The pique fabric is the perfect weight for layering on top of. The Farah Merriweather Polo has a mercerised treatment for waterproofing.
Continuing their protection from wetter weather, Farah have introduced a Mac jacket. The Grendon Zip Mac Jacket is a classic cut with a waxed finish. It has an Airtex half lining and a detachable hood for a smarter look as well as a button flap fastening over the zip.
Farah knitwear is always a focal point in every collection. The Farah Romon Knitted Sweater is perfect example of why. It's a classic, understated piece with a ribbed crew neck, cuffs and waist. It has a contrast loose knit to the front chest panel for a point of difference and extra comfort. The Romon can be layered with a shirt for a smarter look.
